Acts2 Winter Conference 2025

What’s so special about the Acts 2 Winter Conference?

Think it’s just students stuck in boring lectures and intellectual chatter? Think again.

Over 680 attendees gathered at our network’s home base in Alameda for an extended time of worship, growing in their faith, and building long-lasting friendships. These attendees were college juniors, seniors, and recent graduates up to three years out.

Within 4 days, the students heard calibrating stories of heroes of faith, learned from various practical workshops (ex: How to Connect with Others Deeply, Understanding & Overcoming Addiction, Gospel Conversations in Mandarin), and experienced the church community on a massive scale.

We heard different students shared that they were inspired seeing all the older people serving and leading sessions. because it gives them encouragement that serving God zealously for many years is possible. Since this was our first time having a mix of undergrad and post-grad attendees, this really elevated the juniors and seniors and got them to consider how they want to spend their futures more seriously.

Many people shared how they are thankful to connect with peers across cities and ministries, where they shared and prayed for each other and left renewed and strengthened spiritually. And not gonna lie — all the various family time performances really had us feeling major FOMO.

“Winter conference was a time where I could really experience first hand how God works through not only me but countless of others within this church network. Through this and the messages/workshops, I was really inspired me to live my life in the way that God intends rather than living just for my own limited perspective of happiness. This includes having faith in obeying his commands and developing my relationship with him through different spiritual disciplines.” - Joey, UW junior.

“I was so thankful for winter conference because not only did it let me reconnect with a lot of friends from past mission trips, but it also led me to reconnect with God and be spiritually refreshed. I learned about the importance of taking leaps of faith, surrendering my future to God’s will for my life and the power of prayer! It has given me great hope as I go forward with the rest of my senior year.” - Kim, UW senior.
