Steven and Jamie both graduated from UC Berkeley—Steven studied City Planning, and Jamie majored in Psychology and Japanese. They are passionate about teaching the Bible and helping students grow in their faith and love for Jesus in college! After several years of working in the Bay Area and doing college ministry at Berkeley, they church planted in Philadelphia and ministered to students there for four years before moving in 2025 to lead our Seattle church.

Steven enjoys basketball, music, and puns, and once fell through a drop ceiling while attempting to retrieve his beloved beach ball from the roof (when he was a kid, not like, recently).

Jamie enjoys the outdoors and can be found throwing a football/frisbee with their son Silas and biking with their daughter Brooke.
